Compatible AI — Privacy Policy

Compatible AI is a connector that lets you search for local service businesses (such as HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and electrical contractors), check their availability, and request appointments through an AI assistant. This policy explains what data passes through the connector and how it is handled.

What we process

• Search inputs — the service category and location you ask about. Used only to find matching businesses.
• Booking details — when you request an appointment, your name and one contact method (phone or email), plus the requested date and time. This is the minimum needed to book.
• Business data — the public listing and availability of participating businesses.

What we do NOT process

• No payment or financial information. Compatible AI never handles payments.
• No medical, diagnostic, insurance, or other protected health information. The connector is for scheduling only.
• No tracking, advertising profiles, or sale of personal data.

How booking data flows

When you request an appointment, your name and contact are sent to the business's own scheduling system to fulfill the booking. The booking handoff link Compatible AI generates contains only the business identifier and service type — never your name or contact. Your personal details are shared with the business at the moment you book, and are held by that business under their own privacy practices.

Data retention

Booking requests are retained to operate the service and maintain an audit trail of scheduling activity. Integration credentials for participating businesses are encrypted at rest. We retain booking records only as long as needed to provide and support the service.

Security

Connections use OAuth 2.0 with PKCE. Business integration credentials are encrypted at rest. Access is scoped per business so one business cannot see another's data.
